MADISON CO., Fla. -- A fire blazed through a mobile home in Madison County on Wednesday morning, according to Patrick Lightcap.
The fire happened around 10:58 a.m. on NE Rocky Ford Road in north central Madison County.
When fire officials responded, they found smoke coming out of a mobile home located about one-half mile from the road. They were able to put the fire out, but the home was extensively damaged by smoke and water.
No injuries were reported.
Units from the following agencies provided assistance at the scene: Pinetta Fire Rescue, Madison Fire Rescue, Cherry Lake Fire Rescue, Tri-County Electric, Madison County Emergency Medical Services, the State of Florida Division of Forestry, and Madison County Sheriff's Office.
