TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - In celebration of MLK Jr. Day, events are being held in Tallahassee.
To observe the civil rights leader's birthday, the Tallahassee NAACP will hold a march from the C.K. Steele Bus Plaza to the Capitol starting at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
Starting at noon is the Sixth Annual Dare to Dream Festival at Cascades Park. It goes until 4 p.m.
The festival features an MLK birthday bash for kids, food, vendors, community service project and a historical exhibit by the Meek Eaton Black Archives.
There's also entertainment on the soundstage, including six-time Grammy-nominated artist the Mad Violinist Motown recording artist Royce Lovett and more.
