EATONTON, Ga. (AP) - A small earthquake has been reported in central Georgia.
Data from the U.S. Geological Survey says a 2.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded Monday near Eatonton, which is about 50 miles northeast of Macon.
Officials say the earthquake was recorded at a depth of roughly 5 miles underground.
Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills tells WMAZ-TV he hasn't gotten any reports of damage or injuries.
