COLQUITT, Ga. (WTXL) - Two expansion projects are in the works at the Miller County Hospital.
That includes a 27,000 square foot expansion to the nursing home that will give space for 50 additional beds and 100 new jobs.
The second project focuses on the shipping and receiving department.
Officials tells us they also revamped how the emergency room operates to make patient care more efficient.
The last phase of construction should be finished in the summer of 2019.
