MIAMI (AP) - Miami police are asking for the public's help in locating a toddler who has been missing for several months.

Police spokeswoman Kenia Fallat tells local media that 2-year-old Angela Marjorie Dufrene has been missing for eight months and police don't have a picture of her.

Fallat says Florida Department of Children and Families investigators recently informed city detectives that the child was missing. Dufrene was born April 25, 2014, and was last seen sometime in November 2015.

DCF spokeswoman Beatriz Lopez says the department is "very concerned" about Dufrene's well-being. With so little to go on, detectives are turning to the public to help.

Fallat says detectives need pictures, information about the family and a description of the child.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami police at 305-397-4795.
