Miami Dade Police Seeks Public Help in Teen's Fatal Shooting

Posted

MIAMI (AP) — Miami Dade police are asking for the public's help in finding out who fatally shot a 15-year-old boy.

Miami homicide Sgt. Julio Pino told media outlets Thursday that Saturday night's shooting of Alder Hill was an "execution" of an innocent child.

Police say Hill was riding his bike when someone grabbed him, dragged him to a field and shot him multiple times near Liberty City's Northwestern High School.

Police said people were in the area when Hill was killed, and they're urging anyone with information to contact authorities.

Two other shootings were reported that night including the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Jaquan Leonard, blocks away from where Hill was killed. An unidentified man was shot in Overtown. Police haven't determined if the cases are connected.
