(WTXL) - Weather permitting, here are ways you can honor our military heroes on Memorial Day.
The veterans of foreign wars with The Leon County VFW Post 3308 will hold a special Memorial Day service at 11 a.m. at the VFW Cemetery, located at the intersection of Fox Road and Old Briar Trail.
The Big Bend Honor Guard will pay its respects around town with a color guard and rifle squad.
It will be at the VFW service and the Oakland Cemetery off North Bronough Street at 11 a.m.
They will also be at the Tallahassee Old City Cemetery at 7 p.m. placing flags at headstones.
