Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL) - CareerSource Capital Region has announced a Medical and Health Care Hiring Fair on March 2 at Tallahassee Community College.
This announcement of the Hiring Fair comes after a newly released report for unemployment rates.
The combined Big Bend area comes in with a 4.5% which is 0.2% lower than the states average of 4.7%.
In addition to coming in under average with unemployment, the Tallahassee area was tied for second fastest annual job growth rate compared to all the metro areas in the state.
The Hiring Fair will take place on March 2nd from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Tallahassee Community College Center's of Work Force and Development.
According to a Capital Region official, "this is a unique opportunity for local employers to recruit talent for open positions.”
