(RNN) - It's a "Frork" - like a fork, but with fries.
McDonald's latest online marketing attempt introduces the semi-real utensil. Real-life pitchman Anthony Sullivan, identified as a "preposterous product pitching powerhouse," stars in the mock infomercial for the plastic holder with three fries sticking out in a fork-like shape.
"It's ludicrous…ly easy to use," Sullivan promises.
The Frork goes with the new McDonald's Signature Crafted RecipesTM sandwiches, which are a real thing. The idea is that they are so full of fresh ingredients, you'll need something to scoop up the "topping dropping."
"This is a real problem. Wait, is this a real problem? Probably not, but good news - we solved it anyway!" Sullivan yells.
Actual Frorks will be available in limited supply.
To get a Frork yourselves, stop by participating locations May 5 to get one free with the purchase of a Signature Crafted RecipesTM sandwiches. The video gives the phone number 1-844-McD-FRORK, with the possibility of "maybe" some free goodies, as well as an option to find a location near you.
