TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Next Saturday, Tallahassee's new mayor will be staring in The Nutcracker.
The Tallahassee Ballet announced Wednesday that Mayor John Dailey will perform the role of Mother Ginger in this year's performance of The Nutcracker.
Mayor Dailey will perform in the Sat., Dec. 8, 7:30 p.m., and Sun., Dec. 9, 2:30 p.m., performances. Both shows will be accompanied by a live orchestra and will be held at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall on the FSU campus.
