TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Mayor Andrew Gillum has responded to the investigation regarding his city email.
After a full report was put on the desk of State Attorney Jack Campbell, in connection to Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum's use of his city-issued email.
He says quote " I am pleased that the sheriff's department has completed its work. I am looking forward to a speedy conclusion from the state attorney. It is my sincere hope that this does not become politicized any further."
Gillum, who is running for Governor was accused of "misusing" his city-issued email software for political gain.
State Attorney Jack Campbell says he has not read the entire report, and says it will take time to read.
