TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Advocates for legalizing marijuana are rallying Saturday in more than 300 cities worldwide, including Tallahassee.
A group -- organized in part over Facebook -- is planning to gather at the steps of the State Capitol at 11 a.m., as part of the "Global Marijuana March."
The state legislature ended session before voting on Senate Bill 7066, which would legalize medical marijuana. The bill was approved by a Senate Committee but was left on the floor without a vote, meaning that it will be reviewed in the 2016 session.
The group plans to march at noon, down Monroe Street and across College Avenue and Jefferson Street, ending at Kleman Plaza.
