MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL) - Marianna police are looking for a 14-year-old girl they believe ran away from home with another teen.
The Marianna Police Department is looking for Alycia Martin, 14, who was last seen on April 20.
They said that they were notified by Martin's mother that she as last seen the morning of April 20 walking to the bus stop with an older female friend. Martin's mother told them that around 7:40 a.m., Martin called and told her that she had missed the bus and was walking to school.
According to Martin's mother, she had offered to pick Martin up and take her to school, but she declined, saying that she was almost there.
Around 8 a.m., Martin's mother called the school and was told that her daughter wasn't there. She said that Martin called later that night around 9 p.m., but wouldn't reveal where she was or who she was with.
Martin is described as a 14-year-old, light skinned black female, around 5'3 tall, about 103 lbs., with shoulder length curly light brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a faded tattoo on her right wrist.
Her mother said that she last saw her daughter wearing blue jeans, black shoes, black polo, and pink jacket with the word “Love” on it.
After speaking with friends and family Marianna police believe that Martin is with another teen, Samantha Massey.
They describe Massey as a 16-year-old white female, between 5'0 and 5'5 tall, between 120-130 lbs., with long brown/blonde hair and blue eyes.
Police said she has a scar under her left ear and always wears a hooded jacket with the hood on her head.
On April 22, one of Martin’s friends received a phone call from a restricted phone number. The friend told police that it was Martin alleging that she was in Orlando and was okay, but again, would not disclose her whereabouts or any other information.
