JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Marianna man faces nearly 10 charges after leading deputies on a chase in Jackson County.
Accoridng to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, a deputy tried make a traffic stop near near Kynesville and Topaz roads just before 3 p.m. Sunday.
But when the deputy approached the truck, officials say Joushua Carr sped off, ripping through residential area at more than 80 miles an hour.
Deputies say the truck finally got stuck and Carr took off on foot, eventually getting caught in a nearby wooded area.
Carr now faces eight charges, including two counts of felony fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, and multiple counts of drug possession.
