JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A mandatory evacuation has been issued for residents living in mobile homes and low lying, flood prone areas in Jackson County.
Jackson County officials say the mandatory evacuation is for mobile homes, trailers, modular homes and anyone in a low lying area prone to flooding.
They are asking residents to ensure you take protective actions and go to the shelter located at the Marianna High School.
The shelter opened for general population personnel at 10 a.m.
