THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - A man wanted for a Thomasville shooting is behind bars tonight after a high speed police chase.

The chase started in Grady County and ended on Campbell Street in Thomasville. Police say Terry Willis shot at a car with a 3-year-old child inside on Monday.

Yesterday, Grady County deputies spotted Willis and four others.

That's when the chase started, going through several busy roads such as the highway 319 bypass and highway 84. No one was injured and all four suspects were taken into custody without issues.

Employee's at the Lynch's business in Thomasville say they were shocked to see the chase right outside their window.

Willis is facing aggravated assault charges and gun possession charges tonight. The rest face drug charges.
