TAMPA, Fla. -- A Tampa man has been accused of threatening to shoot a BB gun at a group of middle school students waiting for their school bus.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says 48-year-old Bobby Buice was driving past a Jennings Middle School bus stop in Tampa on Monday morning when his vehicle was hit by a pencil. Deputies say Buice grabbed a BB gun, returned to the bus stop and threatened to shoot two of the children waiting there. He then left.
When deputies spoke to Buice, they said he admitted to making the threat.
Authorities say they found the BB gun and cocaine inside his vehicle.
Buice was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of cocaine and possession of paraphernalia. It's unclear whether he has an attorney.
