TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating after the man suspected in a stabbing at a local Walgreens back in September was found dead.
TPD is currently conducting a death investigation in the wood line of 222 Ocala Road after a TPD Patrol Officer found the body while searching the woods for an unrelated case.
The Violent Crimes and Forensic Units are currently on scene at the Player’s Club Apartments processing both the immediate area and all known evidence.
While the investigation is in the very early stages, the death does appear to be a suicide.
The male has been identified as Tavon Jackson, who was the suspect in the 2016 murder of 23-year-old Javona Glover.
