DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — Police say a man wounded in an attempted robbery at a Sonic drive-in outside Atlanta has died, prompting authorities to charge a suspect with murder.
Police say 19-year-old Kenneth Brayboy died Monday afternoon, after authorities say a drive-through customer who was being robbed pulled a gun and shot at his attackers. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://on-ajc.com/1CAdC6C) that the gunfire happened Sunday night at the restaurant on Flat Shoals Parkway in DeKalb County.
Police say a 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder, criminal attempt-armed robbery and tampering with evidence.
