TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--Deputies with the Leon County Sheriff's Office say 40-year-old Eugene Smith is recovering from non-life threatening injuries after a shooting.
It happened at the Petro South Gas Station at Shelfer and Crawfordville Roads at around 3:15 p.m. June 2.
Surveillance video shows Smith coming inside after being shot in the chest. An employee says he was asking for someone to call 911.
Deputies say Smith saw his sister's car that had been stolen pull into the Petro parking lot. Smith confronted a man standing on the passenger's side of the car and the man shot him. Witnesses say at least two black males fled the scene on foot.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--A man is recovering after a shooting at the Petro South gas station at the intersection of Shelfer and Crawfordville roads.
Leon County Sheriff's Office say that they received a phone call from the gas station around 3:15 Sunday that there was a shooting.
They arrived on the scene and found the victim in the parking lot with a gunshot wound.
Deputies are searching for the suspect.
