KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — Authorities in suburban Atlanta say a 19-year-old man shot six people at the FedEx package-sorting center where he worked before fatally shooting himself.
Police in Cobb County say Geddy Kramer also had several homemade explosive devices when he went to the facility in Kennesaw Tuesday morning, but none of those were detonated. Police did not disclose a motive for the shootings.
Police say a 28-year-old man who underwent surgery was in critical condition late Tuesday, while a 52-year-old woman who underwent surgery was upgraded to stable. A 22-year-old man's condition was also upgraded to stable.
Among the others wounded were a 42-year-old woman and two men, ages 38 and 19.
Geddy's father, Scott Kramer, released a statement expressing his family's condolences to the shooting victims.
