Man Sentenced to Life for Murder in Mitchell County

MITCHELL CO., Ga (WTXL) - A jury puts a man behind bars for life in Mitchell County for a murder that happened back in February of 2014.

Samuel Johnaul Stork is guilty of three counts, which include, one count of felony murder, malice murder and aggravated assault.

Stork is sentenced to life behind bars without parole.

Evidence in the three day trial showed that Stork shot and killed Rodney Pate in Mitchell County.

At least 50 other defendants were also arrested, charged and entered guilty pleas this week in Mitchell County.
