TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office reports on a small house fire that happened today around 1 p.m.
The incident happened in Jasper in the 300 block of Central Avenue.
Reports say the man living there went to a parts store came back and saw back bedroom filling with smoke. The man was able to get his elderly father out.
The man believes he might have left his heater going.
Officials says the fire was contained to the bedroom.
