VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--A man is recovering after a shooting, and Valdosta police are trying to find the suspect.
It happened on West Adair Street Friday night.
Officers say the victim was sitting in the car with his girlfriend when a man approached them, pulled out a handgun, and robbed them.
The victim told police the suspect then shot him in the leg. His girlfriend then ran from the car, and the victim drove to the police department.
Officers say they are following up on leads.
