HOLT, Fla. (AP) - A Florida Panhandle man has pleaded guilty to a drunken driving crash that left a motorcyclist dead.

The Northwest Florida Daily News reported Monday that Alvaro Moreno-Colorado pleaded no contest to DUI manslaughter, driving without a license and DUI with property damage. He faces up to 16 years in prison at a Sept. 19 sentencing.

Prosecutors say Moreno-Colorado was driving on U.S. Highway 90 near Holt in October 2015 when he crossed the center line and hit Joey V. Locke, who died from his injuries.

Tests showed his blood alcohol level to be 0.19 percent. Florida law considers a driver impaired at 0.08 percent.
