TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man who was previously charged for sexual battery has been arrested again for sexually assaulting another incapacitated victim.
Elvis Trotman, 33, was arrested Tuesday on two counts of sexual battery and booked into the Leon County Detention Facility, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Both his victims had been drinking alcohol at clubs before they were assaulted, court records indicate, and both had resisted Trotman's attempts to engage in sex with them while they passed in and out of consciousness.
At the time of the recent incident, Trotman was out on a $40,000 bond following his October 2013 arrest for the first sexual battery charge.
Trotman's arrest came after the victim attended the Florida State football game with a friend on Oct. 21, later went with the friend to a club where they got separated, and ended up getting a ride home from Trotman.
Trotman took the victim home, court documents indicate, and when he arrived the victim's friend and another person visiting the victim for the weekend were there.
The four of them hung out in the victim's living room until the victim fell asleep on the floor. Eventually, Trotman, along with the two other friends, carried the victim to their room.
After being put in bed, the victim said Trotman sexually assaulted them, despite the victim's repeated attempts to get him to stop.
As a result of the investigation, Trotman was arrested and transported to the Leon County Jail where he remains on a $50,000 bond.
