HOMERVILLE, GA (WALB) - A man was killed in a fire Sunday night in Homerville, according to Clinch County Deputy Coroner Willie Smith.
Smith said Clarence Kelsaw died in a house fire in the 300 block of Cuttings Loop Road.
Coroner William Felton said the Clinch County Sheriff’s Office and the state fire marshal have been called in to investigate.
A representative from the fire marshal’s office said it appears to be a cooking fire at this time but the final determination on the cause will be made after an autopsy is complete.
