HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Troopers say a Lake City man has been killed in a late night crash on Wednesday.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that Jerry Depratter, 47, was traveling north on U.S. 41, approaching U.S. 129 south of Jasper around 11: 45 p.m.
They said that somehow he lost control of his car, causing it to overturn multiple times.
Troopers say that Depratter was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the car.
They said that the exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
