MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Troopers have identified the 53-year-old man who was killed in a Madison County crash on Monday.
The man has been identified as Darryl Lynn Jones of Madison.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that the fatal car crash happened at approximately 2:51 a.m. on Monday.
Jones' 2002 GMC Yukon was initially traveling east on NE Rocky Spring Church Road when it started traveling southeast onto the south grass shoulder.
The car drifted northeast across the eastbound and westbound travel lanes of NE Rock Spring Church Road. Jones continued driving onto the north shoulder and then finally overturned.
The driver was ejected from the car and the left side of the car hit several trees.
It is still unknown if alcohol was a factor.
