TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A man was killed in an overnight crash near Boone Boulevard and Allen Road. Police say that the accident was a result of a hit and run that he caused right before the accident that killed him.

41-year-old Rodgeous D. Parker was driving a black Honda Accord when he hit a car at the intersection of North Monroe Street and Allen Road, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

Police say that Parker drove off, leaving the intersection at a high speed.

TPD says that the driver of the car he hit was treated and released at a local hospital, and he had minor damage to his car.

Parker was on Allen Road towards Boone Boulevard when another crash occurred, according to police. Officers say that Parker's car was the only involved in the second crash.

Tallahassee Police say that Parker was killed in that second crash. They say that details are under investigation.
