TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man is behind bars after deputies say he was selling crack cocaine near Riley Elementary School.
Jamaal Mitchell is behind bars on several drug charges.
According to Leon County Sheriff's Office, under cover deputies were able to buy crack cocaine from the 30-year-old at a home in the 1300 block of Indiana Street, one block away from Riley Elementary School.
Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil says the arrest was a big step in quote "ridding the community of an awful drug" and ensuring the "paramount" safety of children.
