MACON, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say a 19-year-old Macon man who was shot to death is the fourth homicide victim in Bibb County in the past week.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said Majesty Jaques Conover was shot multiple times at an apartment complex on Houston Avenue late Wednesday night. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Bibb County sheriff's officials said witnesses reported that two men were arguing with Conover before he was shot just before 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities say the suspects left the area in a newer model, dark-colored car.
The Telegraph reports that investigators overnight were interviewing witnesses in the case.
