TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man who was arrested for a shooting that injured a woman back in 2015 has been found guilty.
Darrell Paramore was found guilty on Wednesday of aggravated battery with a firearm causing great bodily harm, kidnapping to inflict bodily harm or to terrorize with a firearm, felony battery, and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
In 2015, the Tallahassee Police Department were called to an area hospital about a victim with a gunshot wound.
Officers said Paramore and the victim got into an argument at a home on South Franklin Boulevard, when the victim asked him to take her home.
While in the car the argument continued and officers said Paramore pistol-whipped her.
They say he then forced her back inside the home and according to court documents, told her he was going to kill her while pushing the muzzle of the gun in her face.
Police documents said the victim then tried to push the gun away from her causing it to go off, hitting her in the thigh.
Sentencing for Paramore has been set for June 26 at 9:00 a.m.
