ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - Authorities say a man and an infant were killed when their car was rear-ended and pushed into a semi-trailer.
Altamonte Springs police report that the crash occurred at a busy intersection Friday morning.
Officials say a car speeding toward traffic waiting at a red light hit the victims' car, sent it crashing through other vehicles and finally pushed it into the side of the truck.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that the deceased man had been driving, with the infant behind him in a car seat. Police say a female in the car was seriously injured.
Police weren't immediately naming the victims.
