OCALA, Fla. (WTXL) - A man magnet fishing in Florida found a hand grenade, put it in his trunk and drove it to a Taco Bell.
There the man informed 911 about the small bomb, and the Taco Bell was evacuated Saturday, the Ocala Police Department said in a tweet.
A Marion County Sheriff's Office bomb squad removed the World War II hand grenade without incident and the Taco Bell was reopened, police said.
Police said the man found the hand grenade while magnet fishing in Ocklawaha.
No reason was given for the man taking the grenade to the restaurant.
