HOMERVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - The family of a fire victim speaks after losing their family member to a fire this weekend.
Tramaine Foster spoke about his stepfather Clarence Kelsaw who died inside his Homerville home Sunday after it went up in flames.
Kelsaw's neighbor Elizabeth Tolbert said she worked with him at B-way Corporation for 20 years saying he's going to be missed by a lot of people.
Tolbert said she was next door when the fire broke out.
Foster said his stepdad was a great parent who taught him how to be a good father to his own kids.
"You know its going to strengthen us and pull us together as a family and everybody got to step up," said Foster. "We got to be there for my mom, its weakened her and its going to be awhile but she'll never be the same."
The State Fire Marshal's Office said they are waiting for autopsy results before naming a cause, but say right now, it appears to be a cooking fire.
