BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) - Authorities say one man has been hospitalized after a brawl led to a stabbing Wednesday night.
The City of Bainbridge says the there was a stabbing in the city Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m.
Officers say that when they arrived on scene, they found a white man covered in blood on the side of the road.
The man, who was conscious, told police that he had been stabbed in the chest and didn't know who did it. He managed to tell them that he another man had gotten into a fight, though he didn't tell authorities why.
Investigators found the suspect, Ladawn Edwards, hiding on his girlfriend's kitchen floor.
He was then arrested for aggravated assault and taken to the Decatur County Jail.
