TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child in Leon County over a seven year period has been found guilty.

Larry Bernard Robinson was found guilty by trial last week.

He was convicted of sexual battery on a child over 12 years old, two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation, lewd or lascivious exhibition, sexual battery by a familial or custodial authority, distributing obscene material to a minor and battery.

Robinson was arrested after the victim came forward as an adult last January and reported years of sexual abuse at the hands of Robinson.

Arrest documents say he abused the victim, who was an underage child at the time, at various family members' homes in 2013, 2014 and 2016 and would threaten the victim to keep the victim from reporting the abuse.

During this time, documents say Robinson would also show the victim pornographic videos.

Robinson is due back in court on Feb. 18, 2020 to possibly set a date for sentencing.
