TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man faces multiple charges after one person suffered minor injures and another was seriously injured in a single-car accident in Leon County early Sunday morning.
Kenneth Gatlin, 61, of Blountstown, Fla. was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol on Sunday.
According to FHP, they responded to an accident on State Road 20 at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
FHP says Gatlin, along with his two passengers, were traveling west on State Road 20, when Gatlin drove off the roadway and hit a ditch as well as a tree.
FHP states one passenger suffered minor injuries and the other sustained serious injuries. Both were taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Gatlin wasn't injured in the accident and FHP says this was a non-alcohol related incident.
Gatlin is being charged with driving on a suspended license, habitual traffic offender, and careless driving.
