SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A 26-year-old man was killed after being hit by a car in Suwannee County.
Talon Richman, of Lake City, Fla., was pronounced dead at the scene.
Florida Highway Patrol responded to an accident at about 1:14 a.m. Sunday on State Road 247.
According to FHP, a car was traveling south on State Road 247 and Richman was walking in the southbound lane of State Road 247.
FHP says the car hit Richman and he was pronounced dead on scene.
The driver of the car was taken to Lake City Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
FHP states they are not sure at this time if alcohol played a factor in the accident and charges are currently pending investigation.
