TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee police say that one man has died at a hospital after getting into a crash on Holton Street Tuesday morning.
The Tallahassee Police Department said that they were called to the crash on Holton Street near Floral Street around 3 a.m. When they arrived, they found that Roger DuPoint was involved in a crash and was in need of medical attention.
He was transported to a local hospital for serious injuries but later died.
Police said that an initial investigation showed that DuPoint as traveling north on Holton Street when his car hit an embankment on the north side of Floral Street.
TPD’s Traffic Homicide Investigators came to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
Investigators are asking any community members who may have witnessed the crash, but did not remain on scene to please contact TPD at (850) 891-4200.
