ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - A man is dead after he apparently lost control of his car, drove through a bus stop and crashed into the front porch of a St. Petersburg house.
Police say the crash happened shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday.
According to police, the car was reported to have been speeding just before it ran off the road. They say it also hit a tree before slamming into the porch.
The driver was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation continues.
