Man convicted in murder at Gadsden Arms Apartments to return to court

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man found guilty of second-degree murder is expected back inside a Gadsden County courtroom for sentencing on June 26.

Keveonte Thomas, 19, was found guilty in late April for the murder of Kentrell Thomas.

Officials said that, in February, Thomas, along with two other suspects, was involved in a shooting at the Gadsden Arms Apartments, where Kentrell was shot and killed.

Police said the two other suspects - 20-year-old Mark Williams and a 15-year-old minor - were all charged with second-degree murder.

A sentencing hearing had been set for Tuesday's but was pushed back to June 26.
