TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An arrest has been made in connection to a fatal shooting at the Pita Pit restaurant on Tennessee Street.

Johnny Tommy Anderson III, 22, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder. 

On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the Pita Pit (1935 West Tennessee Street) at 2:40 a.m.

The victim, Andrew Glover III, had been shot six times and was transported to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where he underwent surgery but later died due to his.

TPD investigated the shooting, speaking with many witnesses and gathering evidence. After an extensive investigation, probable cause was established to arrest Anderson for the murder of Glover. 

TPD and the the United States Marshalls Task Force worked together to arrest Anderson into custody and transported him to the Leon County Detention Facility.
