KEY WEST, Fla. (AP) - A homeless man was arrested in the Florida Keys after airline employees reported finding him asleep in the cargo area of a passenger plane.
Jamie Crabtree told officials he jumped the Key West Airport's barbed wire fence and entered the Delta plane, where he fell asleep until employees found him this morning.
The 32-year-old said he intended to stow away on the plane because he wanted to leave the country.
Crabtree was arrested and charged with burglary and trespassing on posted airport property.
