TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Connor Ravelo, the 'Big Brother' of Andrew Coffey, will officially take a plea deal on April 16 that includes jail time.
According to his attorney, he turned himself into the Leon County Detention Center Wednesday to begin serving. It is unclear how much time he will spend in jail.
Ravelo, 21, is being charged with hazing in connection with Coffey's death.
All nine of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity members charged in the hazing death of Florida State pledge Andrew Coffey were offered plea deals by the State Attorney.
Another defendant, Kyle Bauer, has a plea hearing scheduled also on April 16th. His lawyer has declined a request by WTXL to comment at this time.
All of the defendants have until April 1st to make a decision.
