THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - A Thomasville man is facing a charge of aggravated assault after police say he attacked his father with an ax handle.
Police say this incident happened Wednesday night around 7:30 p.m. at a home in the three hundred block of Magnolia Street.
Police say they responded to a crisis call and found the ax handle in the man's hand.
Police say the man's father was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
The man is charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to a person 65 years or older.
