TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Officers of the Violent Crimes Response Team arrested Timothy K. Barnes on gun charges on Wednesday, September 27 at 5:45 p.m on North Monroe Street.
While officers were conducting a proactive patrol, they received a call from the Quality Inn regarding three men with guns.
After conducting an on-scene investigation and developing probable cause, TPD arrested Barnes for carrying a concealed firearm, which was previously reported stolen.
Barnes is currently in the Leon County Jail.
Barnes is facing the following charges:
- Carrying a Concealed Firearm Unlicensed
- Grand Theft of a Firearm
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
