WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TN. (WTXL) - A man was arrested in Tennessee after going more than 100 mph on the highway and abducting a woman from a Georgia store.

Terry Lee, 50, of Quitman, Ga., was arrested by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee on Tuesday.

According to WCSO, a deputy stopped Lee's car for speeding on Tuesday afternoon after he was clocked going more than 100 mph.

Lee was initially arrested and taken into custody for driving on a revoked license.

The victim was in the car with Lee and told deputies that Lee had kidnapped her from a market in Georgia on Monday.

Deputies saw that she had injuries that were consistent with a struggle.

Georgia authorities confirmed the woman was abducted and Lee was also charged with aggravated kidnapping.

Lee and the woman had previously been in a romantic relationship, but they had not been dating for several months.

Lee, a convicted sex offender, is currently in custody at the Williamson County Detention Center with a bond set at $268,000.

He's scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Wednesday, May 9. He also faces charges of speeding and being a habitual motor vehicle offender.
