LOWNDES Co., GA (WTXL) - A man was arrested for robbery in Lowndes County after he was caught in the act by the victim.
Sheriff's deputies say a Lake Park man noticed 20-year-old Andres Gonzalez rummaging around in a car Wednesday night around 8:30.
They say he then followed Gonzalez while calling 911, demanding he return the stolen items.
Deputies say at one point Gonzalez handed over the items, but then snatched them back.
Lowndes County Deputies were able to catch up with Gonzalez, arrested him and gave the victim back his property.
Deputies discovered there was also an active warrant for his arrest for a violation of probation.
